I just signed up for the mobile "blog from anywhere" and I just think it's the greatest idea that Twitter already claimed. Its powered by SMS texting so it requires a limited # 0f characters as well..

I commute 2 hrs almost every day and it should be interesting to see if the mobile posting can keep up with the quality of posts that are created from computer keyboards.

In essence, with a mobile blog, some of my best ideas can be captured on the go before I have too much time to forget them.

Also, the importance of timeliness may factor in bigger than I can define right now. I know that timeliness is one of the main reasons that a story will make the news along with community and some sort of shock value.

The only real drawbacks I see from a mobile posting standpoint are increased typos, shortened entries (sent via SMS Text) and I maybe slightly less resourceful with the staggering internet on my than when.

I'll have to touch back on this once I've tweeted a few times..
